Is anyone missing this blue parakeet pet bird? One has been located at Ellijay Elementary School on McCutchen Street. The wings have been clipped, so we believe the owner may live nearby.

Please message us if you have information on the owner, thank you!

Sheriff Nicholson and the staff of Gilmer County Sheriff's Office want to welcome all children, teachers, staff, and parents back to school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7th!

Just a reminder to driving parents to be extra careful and have plenty of patience, especially the first few days of this new school year. Be aware of new pick up routes at some schools and watch out for law enforcement who will be in the areas extra early! We expect the school traffic to start super early too.

We have one favor to ask, please do not be in the school zones unless absolutely necessary to assist all of us getting adjusted these first few days!

We wish you ALL a wonderful 2019-2020 school year!

GO Bobcats!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾
