  • We are currently on HWY 76 in Gilmer county, and just hit a bear that was already dead ( we think. It was laying there motionless.) in the road. We didn't see it until the very last second, but if we hadn't swerved, it would've been bad. It's about a mile west of Apple Country Road in the eastbound lane.
